WHY? THE TRUTH IS THAT BRITISH HOPS IS NOW A VERY SMALL CROP SECTOR GROWING SPECIALIST NICHE VARIETIES. BREWING, AND BEER CONSUMPTION TO QUENCH THE SIZEABLE THIRSTS OF LARGE INDUSTRIAL TOWNS IS CERTAINLY NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE, BUT THERE ARE OTHER FACTORS INVOLVED AS WILL ROGERS EXPLAINS.
