SPRING CREATIONS FROM THE HEART • At this time of the year, you won’t find that many materials in your garden or in the forest. You might be lucky enough to find some anemones but unfortunately, they don’t last long. Luckily, you can find many suitable spring plants at the florist’s. Ramona offers you some ideas on how to use such flowers and she also shows you a couple of alternative spring wreaths made with preserved hydrangea, twigs, Baby’s Breath and paper shreds. These items dry very nicely and last long. Ramona wanted this article to be called "From the heart" to reflect the fact that her heart is involved in everything she creates.

THE DAINTY LILY OFTHE VALLEY

Season to taste WITH HERBS • Throwing away so much food is bad for both the wallet and the environment so we’d like to offer you some tips and good ideas on how to use the leftovers. We found many of these recipes in the back of our cupboards and they are from the time when our mothers and grandmothers were young. Back then, the people made sure to use absolutely everything and they rarely threw anything away.

THREE DRY FACTS

Turn your old clothes into CUTE CHILDREN’S CLOTHES • Turning your old clothes into children’s clothes is quite easy. Mette from Cafe Moules has recycled some old JDL pieces, and her grandchildren love the results. The nice thing about recycling the clothes – apart from saving money – is that you can reuse elements such as pockets, smockings and legs, so that you don’t have to change the clothes that much.

White and worn – FEMININE BROCANTE

Flea market finds and OLD TREASURES

VALDIROSE – the Italian dream • Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this magnificent view in these cozy surroundings? Join us as we visit Irene Berni and her husband Paolo Moretti who run a Bed & Breakfast in Signa in the province of Florence in Italy.

A SPROUTING PROJECT a la Provence

An evocative ATMOSPHERE

Soul and charm IN EACH AND EVERY NOOK

Simple and healthy VEGETARIAN FOOD

HOME IS WHERE YOUR HEART IS

The artist’s CREATIVE OASIS • Visiting Helle Routhe from RoutheArt is very cozy and not least inspiring. She’s been living in this wonderful wooden house, located by the peaceful and scenic Danish forest of Rold Skov, since 2009. It was love at first sight when she saw the place but she’s changed quite a few things in the house and in the garden over the years. Here she’s got her creative workshop and her home, and she exhibits all her works of art in the beautiful garden. This time, we’ll take you along for a tour of the garden and the workshop, and in the next edition of the magazine, we’ll show you the house.
